Since before the beginning of Episode 8, the Valorant community has been eagerly waiting for the arrival of Agent 25. The new character was set to be introduced in Act 2 and now that we are days away from its launch, Riot has talked a few things about it.
For starters, the new agent is still scheduled to come out during Act 2, but it won't be available at the beginning of the season. A new State of the Agents article posted on the official website of the game revealed the agent will now be released "later this month", referring to March 2024.
The article also included a new image that gives us a tease of the new character's appearance, which you can see it down below.
The image shows Omen shooting at something or someone while also covering a mysterious person. It is believed that the person behind is the new agent, so this most likely is our first official look.
Previous leaks pointed out that this character comes from Scotland and it may utilize butterflies for their abilities.
The agent is expected to be fully revealed during VCT Masters in Madrid, as Riot usually uses their esports events to showcase new content coming to the shooter. With the finals taking place on March 24, it is safe to assume the character will be added to the game on Tuesday, March 26 with a new update.
