Ever wanted to play Rainbow Six Siege on the go?

Honestly, probably not. But Ubisoft is making it an option anyway. According to some very reliable reports from industry insider Tom Henderson, Rainbow Six Siege Mobile is being officially revealed on April 6, 2022. The mobile game has been in development with WeGame, Tencent's flagship game portal.

Rainbow Six Siege Mobile was first rumored to be happening a year ago after a playtest survey was sent out to mobile gamers asking about their familiarity with Rainbow Six Siege. Players also speculated an incoming mobile version after Tencent released its fourth quarterly earnings call, which included a project with Ubisoft.

Now, leakers are saying that a trailer is on its way, most likely early next month. It will outline the details of Rainbow Six Siege Mobile, something that's still somewhat of a mystery.

When is Rainbow Six Siege Mobile coming out?

Mobile gamers can expect to play Rainbow Six Siege in 2023. The Ubisoft project announced in Tencent's earnings call that the timeline for this unnamed game was next year.

What will Rainbow Six Siege Mobile gameplay be like?

It's currently unclear what the mobile version will entail but it's most likely going to be quite similar to the PC version.

Many shooters have come to mobile in the past few years, including Call of Duty and Apex Legends. Call of Duty: Warzone was also recently announced for mobile devices. Most of the mobile versions have had similar gameplay to the original versions albeit with some changes to fit the new format.

"It will be a mobile game that Siege fans will love," another insider said to eXputer.
