With the launch of Season 1, multiple new maps, weapons, cosmetics, and more were introduced to Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

Plain and simple, the release of the first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was a day of celebration, as many fans couldn't wait any longer for the start of the weekend.

To make it even better, fans went even crazier when they discovered that unused MWIII and Warzone double XP showed up in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies game modes. This meant that completing the game's different Prestige levels would be relatively easier.

Unfortunately, the good news faded away one day later as fans reported that their double XP tokens just vanished. Eventually, Treyarch's patch notes for November 15 unveiled the reason behind the disappearance of the double XP tokens: Treyarch had removed them.

Fixed an issue that incorrectly allowed legacy XP tokens to be activated in the Black Ops 6 UI.

Treyarch's decision to remove the legacy XP tokens has made the fans go mad. Despite having officially posted the patch notes on X three hours, Call of Duty fans have already had time to write over 650 replies as most of them are angry at Treyarch.

Following Treyarch's controversial decision to remove legacy XP tokens, Call of Duty players have brought up other topics to the table to continue hating on the game.

The biggest one is Call of Duty's partnership with Embody to introduce an audio subscription to the game, which fans see as a pay-to-win system. Although it's too early to tell how much of a difference it makes, the fact that the option exists infuriates the fans, who believe Treyarch is trying to get as much money as possible from the fans.

Another complaint made by the fans was the reduction of COD Points given to players for completing the first Black Ops 6 battle pass. In previous titles, Activision would give players 1,400 COD Points for completing the battle pass, which would allow players to purchase the upcoming battle pass while also getting an item from the shop. Now, Activision is giving players 1,100 COD Points, just enough to buy the next battle pass.
