Oxygen Esports qualifies for the Berlin Major

Oxygen have qualified for the Berlin Major.

Despite losing to Spacestation Gaming earlier today, Oxygen Esports are the first team to mathematically clinch a Berlin Major spot. Other NAL teams outside the top four can no longer surpass OxG's tally of 16 points.

Oxygen Esports' NAL Stage 2 has been defined by small details, with narrow results and comeback wins being the team's hallmark -- the American squad collected two overtime victories over TSM and Parabellum Esports and two 7-5 wins against beastcoast and Mirage.

The team's only victory before round 12 was against DarkZero Esports (7-3), while Soniqs (4-7) and Spacestation Gaming (5-7) are the only names to have defeated them.

Individually, Ethan "Nuers" James' fragging potential has outshined other competitors in the league and he became the first player this stage to break the 100-kill mark. In just his rookie season, Nuers' stock skyrocketed in Charlotte, where he was named one of the EVPs of the tournament.

Since joining the Rainbow Six Siege scene, Oxygen Esports have qualified for every Siege international event except for the Mexico Major. The team's best result was at the last Six Major, where Astralis defeated them in the semi-finals.

Now, Oxygen Esports have qualified for what will be the team's fIfth appearance at a Siege international event.
