Overwatch 2 Juno: Everything you need to know about the new hero

It's time to welcome Juno into the Overwatch 2 roster of heroes. Originally announced under the codename Space Ranger at BlizzCon 2023, the new hero has finally been revealed with a gameplay trailer to show off her abilities.

Before her trial weekend, we have gathered all the important details about the new character.

Release date

Juno is set to be released in Season 12 of Overwatch 2, which is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 27. The new content will be added through an update that will go live at 11:00 am PT (7:00 pm BST).

Just like what happened with Mauga and Venture, players will get a chance to try the hero during a limited-time trial taking place from July 19 to July 21.

Abilities

Juno will join the support category and here is the list of her abilities along with the official description so you can start learning her kit:

  • Mediblaster (Primary fire): Burst fire weapon that heals allies and damages enemies.
  • Pulsar torpedoes (Secondary fire): Press Secondary Fire to lock on, then Primary Fire to fire homing projectiles. Heals allies over time and damages enemies.
  • Glide Boost: Glide horizontally with increased movement speed.
  • Hyper Ring: Deploy a ring that increases movement speed of allies that pass through it.
  • Martian Overboots (Passive): While airborne, press Jump to double jump and hold Jump to hover.
  • Orbital Ray (Ultimate): Call down a ray that travels forward, healing allies and increasing their damage.

Skins

For the moment, we don't know what other skins the hero will have at launch. We will have to wait until we are closer to release for more information.
