MNM Gaming has announced the departure of Stefan “Omerta” Saltalamacchia from the team.

Prior to his MNM Gaming stage, Omerta coached Team Secret’s German roster, where he almost reached a Six Invitational 2021 qualification while surviving the relegation battle in the region’s top flight.

MNM Gaming was last year’s sensation in Europe’s second-tier, as the roster qualified for the European League and the Six Invitational 2022 in the space of just one month.

At the Six Invitational 2022, the UKIN side survived to the group stage after defeating SANDBOX Gaming and eventual finalist Team Empire. Oxygen Esports would eventually put to an end MNM Gaming’s first and so far only international experience with a 2-0 victory in the tournament’s lower bracket.

MNM Gaming’s debut in Europe’s top flight was impressive, as the team finished in fifth place. However, the roster’s start to the competition was not the greatest one, with the squad losing the first three matches.

Later on, MNM Gaming would bounce back and climb up to fifth place mainly thanks to unexpected victories over eventual Major bound teams including Team BDS and LFO.

Despite not qualifying for what would have been a second international appearance for the roster, the marshmallow brand is well alive in the Six Invitational fight with 225 SI Points.
