Marvel Rivals have revealed the Roadmap for Season 4.0 one week before its release. Marvel Rivals' Season 4.0 is expected to be launched on September 12. Its maintenance will kick off at 9 AM UTC and it's expected to last for two or three hours.
The release of a seasonal Roadmap is always welcomed by the Marvel Rivals community as players have a clean idea of what cosmetics and updates will be released to the game. This also helps at keeping the hype around the season for longer, as the new content is spread across the season, instead of being added all at once.
While the Season 4.0 of Marvel Rivals is expected to be released on September 12, 2025, NetEase have already announced more updates and cosmetics to be launched between then and the release of Season 4.5, which will come on October 10, 2025.
On September 12, as part of the release of Season 4.0, NetEase will release the new hero Angela, a costume for her called SKULD 2099, a new Battle Pass called Fruit of Immortality, the Scroll of the Immortal Beasts event, and more changes described in the Marvel Season 4.0 Patch Notes.
One week later, on September 19, NetEase will reveal the highly-awaited Marvel Rivals swimsuit collection Volume 2.0 for Invisible Woman, Mantis, The Thing, and more. Then, on September 26, K'Un-Lun - Heart of Heaven will be released, as well as a new costume for Hela, and new accessories. The final update of Marvel Rivals Season 4.0 will be the addition of a new costume for Emma Frost called Hellfire Protocol.
