Leviatán have qualified for the Valorant Champions Seoul after securing a first-place finish in the VCT Americas Points standings. The Latin American-majority squad will be able to improve their seeding at the VCT Americas Playoffs, as they secured a spot at the Upper Bracket semi-finals following the team's 5-0 run throughout Stage 2.
Despite qualifying for the VCT Masters Shanghai, the organization decided to make changes to the roster's staff team as they parted ways with Alex "Goked" Kie, promoted Dimitar "Itopata" Staev to head coach, and signed Preston "Juv3nile" Dornon as assistant coach. Since the tweaks were made, Leviatán have yet to lose a map.
With the team securing a spot to compete at the Valorant Champions Seoul, the former Evil Geniuses player Corbin "C0M" Lee will have a chance to defend his world champion crown as he won last year's edition after a 3-1 victory against Paper Rex. Erick "Aspas" Santos will feature in his third edition of the tournament after winning it in 2022 and a third-place finish in 2023 for LOUD.
Leviatán's next match will be played on July 18 as they will compete against the winner of the match between Cloud9 and KRÜ Esports. Meanwhile, the other side of the bracket will see G2 Esports playing against the winner of the series between Sentinels and 100 Thieves.
