Knights drops APAC South roster ahead of 2023 season

APAC's future looks uncertain.

Knights, who joined Rainbow Six Siege in 2020, have dropped their APAC South team ahead of the start of the 2023 season.

The Australian roster's first and only international qualification came in 2021, when the team qualified for the Six Mexico Major. But, the team couldn't make its international debut as the Australians couldn't travel to Mexico due to isues related to the pandemic.

Their most recent roster included two former Invictus Gaming players in Glen "Lunarmetal" Suryasaputra and Matin "SpeakEasy" Yunos. It also included Riley "Stigs" Mils, who had competed for Fnatic from Apr. 2020 to Oct. 2021.

Following the the announcement, Stigs also announced the end of his competitive Siege career.

Now, it is possible the roster goes its separate ways ahead of the 2023 season kicking off. The future of the organization itself within the Rainbow Six scene is also unclear, with their tweet implying a full exit.
