Today, w7m esports announced the departures of Joao "volpz" Gomes and Julio "JULIO" Giacomelli. The announcement comes after the Brazilian roster reached the grand-final of the Six Invitational 2023 last Sunday.
On Twitter, JULIO stated on Twitter that he will share details about his future "soon".
After the team's 1-3 loss against G2 Esports in the Six Invitational 2023 grand-final, volpz dubbed that match a "Last Dance" for the Brazilian team.
The bulls were one of the most consistent rosters throughout the 2022 season, becoming one of the only two teams alongside Wolves Esports to qualify for every Six Major.
At the Charlotte Major, they couldn't qualify for the playoffs after being forced to compete from Mexico due to visa complications. However, they reached the semi-finals of the Berlin and the Jönköping Majors, eventually finishing at the top of the Global Standings in terms of SI Points.
Regionally, w7m completed the best stage ever in the Brasileirao, as they got 24 points in Stage 1 after winning eight matches and losing just one. Eventually, they topped the Brazilian standings with 65 points -- 17 more than Team Liquid.
In December, just before traveling to Montreal, w7m finished in second place of the BR6 Finals after losing to Team Liquid in the grand-final by a score of 1-3.
It's still unknown who are going to replace volpz and JULIO, but reports from BLIX.GG point to Felipe "nade" Ferreira and Felipe "FelipoX" Lucia.
