COD Warzone Mobile finally brings the experience we know and love from consoles/PC into mobile devices and if you are planning to try it, you might be wondering if the title is free-to-play.
Is COD Warzone Mobile free?
Yes, just like the console and PC counterpart, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is a completely free-to-play game. In other words, you won't have to spend your money to be able to download and play it whether you use an Android or an iOS phone.
Keep in mind that the game will feature microtransactions, selling exclusive operators, weapon skins, and other cosmetics through the in-game store as it happens with the main titles.
Is COD Warzone Mobile crossplay?
No, Warzone Mobile won't feature crossplay support, meaning that you won't be able to get in a match with users playing the traditional Warzone experience or any of the premium titles of the Call of Duty franchise.
The mobile title features different maps to the console/PC game at launch, but it is unclear if this is the reason why crossplay wasn't implemented. With Rebirth Island already confirmed to be added to the main game and Verdansk rumored to be the next one, we might see this feature in the future.
Warzone Mobile will have cross-progression support and share the same progression system as the main titles. You will be able to level up the same Battle Pass and all the unlocks you already have in the other titles will be available on the mobile game, as long as you use the same Activision account.
