COD Warzone Mobile brings the Warzone experience that everyone knows and loves to mobile devices. Unlike COD Mobile, the game was developed in-house by Activision and it's more closely connected to the main titles.
However, you might be wondering if they are close enough to feature crossplay between Mobile and the usual console/PC titles.
Is COD Warzone Mobile crossplay?
No, Warzone Mobile does not feature crossplay with the console/PC version of Warzone and/or the main titles in the franchise. In other words, you can only get into matches with other users in the same mobile title.
There is no official word on the reason behind this decision, but we have a few theories. For starters, both Verdansk and Rebirth Island are not available in the main Warzone at the time of writing.
Even though the content might end up being the same in the future for both sides, the graphics on the mobile version are different from the ones on the main games, making for an uneven playfield.
Fortnite is one of the few franchises that has unified the console and PC player pool with mobile users, so crossplay on Warzone Mobile might still be possible in the future.
Does COD Warzone Mobile have cross-progression?
On the other hand, Warzone Mobile has cross-progression with the console/PC version of Warzone and the main titles in the franchise.
Any progress made in the mobile version will automatically appear when you play the other games if you use the same Activision account. The seasonal schedule will also be in sync across all the titles, so you can level up the battle pass accordingly.
This also means that most of the blueprints, operators, and other cosmetics you have on those main titles will be available on the mobile version.
