Heroic has announced its intention to part ways with the Rainbow Six Siege esports scene following the conclusion of Stage 2.

According to Heroic's announcement, the organization has taken the decision to leave as it "has been proven difficult to run a healthy team with the current environment."

Heroic's announcement comes nine days after Aleksi "UUNO" Työppönnen's move to G2 Esports and only three days after the signings of Reece "ASTRO" Lambert and Jake "Leadr" Fortunato.

Within Heroic's almost two-year stay in Rainbow Six Siege, the team has seen 15 player and coach departures. Despite the high number of roster moves, the team qualified for the Six Charlotte Major, the Six Jönköping Major, and the Six Invitational 2023.

Although the team's intentions are to leave the scene, their departure will be done once the roster's participation in the second stage is over. This means that Heroic will compete in the Europe League 2023 Stage 2 and could even feature in the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta.
