Heroic have signed Adam "nudl" Hryceniak and moved Jake "Sloth" Brown back to the active roster to compete in the Six Invitational 2023. Both players join the team after the departure of Benjamin "Benjamaster" Dereli, who signed for G2 Esports, and the benching of Maxim "Meloo" Cahanet.
Heroic's choices to replace Benjamaster and Meloo are very interesting. First, nudl comes to the European League team after competing in Mexico for Stage 3. He competed for Skull Cracker and couldn't qualify for the Copa Elite Six. Before his experience in Mexico, nudl had competed in regional competitions, including the Spanish's Six Masters Iberia and the Benelux Cup.
Heroic's coach Murat "MrOfficer88" Mutivalli revealed in a Twitter video that the team had been working with the former Victus player Oscar "Oscr" Deacon, but he couldn't travel to Montreal, Canada, "due to some private issues that we tried to handle."
In his place, Sloth was given the opportunity to return to the active roster. Before being benched, a decision announced after the Six Charlotte Major, Sloth has registered the second-highest rating in the European League Stage 1 with a SiegeGG Rating of 1.28.
Heroic's new lineup will debut within a week at the Six Invitational 2023, as they have been put in Group D alongside DarkZero Esports, M80, Team Secret, and FaZe Clan.
