G2 Esports has parted ways with the three-time Six Invitational winner Fabian "Fabian" Hällsten.

The Swed first joined G2 Esports as a player when the Berlin-based organization joined Rainbow Six Siege. In his first spell for the samurais, Fabian won the Six Paris Major, the PL Season 8 Finals, the DreamHack Winter 2018, and the Six Invitational 2019.

Following his departure in Jun. 2020, Fabian re-joined the team as a coach in Sep. 2022. In Feb. 2023, the Swed became the first person to win the Six Invitational as a player and as a coach.

In May 2023, Fabian and G2 Esports finished in 5th - 8th place of the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen as they were sent home by Team Liquid.

Fabian's last performance for G2 Esports came in July, as the European powerhouse finished at the bottom of the Gamers8 standings.
