Fnatic's Valorant duelist Nikita "Derke" Sirmitev has become a restricted free agent, according to a post released by the Finn on his X account. The 21-year-old joined Fnatic in April 2021 after his initial steps in the Russian competitive scene.

Since joining the team, the Yoru main helped the orange organization to feature in two VCT Masters grand finals against Sentinels (2-3 in Reykjavík, May 2021) and Evil Geniuses (3-0 in Tokyo, June 2023).

Internationally, Derke also won the VCT 2023 LOCK//IN São Paulo against LOUD. He also represented Fnatic in every Valorant Champions played until today, with the team's best result coming in 2022.

Fnatic's 2024 Valorant season has been full of ups and downs. The team's semi-final exit in the Kickoff stage saw the players missing out on the VCT Masters Madrid. However, Fnatic ended up winning the VCT 2024 EMEA season after back-to-back victories in Stage 1 and Stage 2.

Unfortunately, the results at international competitions weren't what the team expected as a Top 8 finish at the VCT Masters Shanghai was followed by a Top 6 finish at the Valorant Champions 2024.
