Fnatic have decided to let their Rainbow Six Siege X squad go after reviewing their competitive performance in Year 10. While Fnatic aren't exiting Rainbow Six Siege's competitive scene, the esports organization stated they will "explore our next steps in the future."
This decision has affected everyone in the team, including the players Tom "Deapek" Pieksma, Jesse "Jeggz" Ojanen, Leonardo "Sarks" Sarchi, Samuel "Wizard" Morgan, and Antonio "CroqSon" Vázquez. The team's head coach Tristan "Saethus" Savage is still linked to the former orange and black roster, with his "priority" now being "making sure that all five players are looked after and have a secure home in the title and lives."
Fnatic is part of Ubisoft's R6 Share Program. Thanks to the brand being part of the game's skin program, Fnatic were allowed to compete in RE:L0:AD. They have also been able to get a cut from the skins sold throughout the season, including their Fnatic Mute bundle as well as their drone, charm, and operator card background collection.
It's also worth mentioning that Fnatic avoided relegation from the Europe and MENA League despite finishing in the bottom two. That's because R6 Share Partners can't be relegated from BLAST's top flight leagues.
With Fnatic missing out on the Six Invitational 2026, and considering they won't have to feature in the upcoming Challenger Series, the orange and black brand is likely to not feature in a Rainbow Six Siege X tournament until March or even April 2025.
