Fnatic have defeated KRÜ Esports and moved to Valorant Champions Seoul's playoffs. The Europeans started the series with a loss on Sunset (11-13) that they reverted with wins on Haven (13-9) and Lotus (13-5).
The VCT EMEA 2024 champions have finished in Group A's first seed after today's victory against the pink roster. They are the second European squad to clinch a playoff spot after Team Heretics' first seed in Group B.
The best player of the series was Nikita "Derke" Sirmitev as the Finn finished with an ACS of 301 after getting 65 kills.
Historically, Fnatic is one of the best organizations in Valorant Champions as they have always finished among the best six teams in the competition. Now that they have sneaked into Seoul's Top 8, it's very likely that the streak continues for them.
Meanwhile, KRÜ Esports' defeat against Fnatic means that the South American organization is missing out on the Valorant Champions playoffs once again. After the team's Top 4 finish in 2021, the team ended in third place of their group in 2022 and missed out on 2023's edition.
