Fnatic were crowned VCT 2024 EMEA champions after the roster's 3-1 victory against Team Vitality. With this result, the orange squad redeemed themselves after last year's 1-3 defeat against Team Liquid at the VCT 2023 EMEA grand finals.
Alongside Team Heretics, Fnatic was the only roster to go unbeaten in the regular phase, a run that included victories against BBL Esports, Karmine Corp, Team Vitality, and Team Liquid. Despite Fnatic's positive results throughout the second split, the team's three defeats during the first stage saw them finishing in third place behind Team Heretics and FUT Esports.
Although Fnatic had to begin the playoffs from the Knockout Round, the orange organization had already clinched a spot to compete in Seoul through the EMEA Points standings. However, the team defeated Karmine Corp, FUT Esports, and Team Vitality to reach the grand final. Following the Bees' victory against Team Heretics in the Lower Bracket grand final, Fnatic and Team Vitality faced off again in the playoff's final match.
While the series began with two close matches on Haven and Ascent, Fnatic defeated their opponents with two wins on Lotus and Bind. With this result, Fnatic secured the region's first seed to compete in Seoul, with Team Vitality and Team Heretics finishing in second and third, respectively. Meanwhile, FUT Esports has taken the EMEA Points spot.
