Both Fnatic and G2 Esports have announced a partnership with Nyan Heroes, a Web3 hero shooter that features cats piloting giant mechs. Yeah, you've read that right.

Fnatic's announcement didn't include much information about the partnership and they only attached a link to download the early version of Nyan Heroes, which will be playable from the March 26 to the April 9 on Epic Games.

While Fnatic unveiled the team's partnership with Nyan Heroes earlier today, the shooter announced it the day before. Their post on X has gathered over 29,000 reosts and 44,000 likes and linked two Twitch channels from two different Fnatic content creators.

Meanwhile, G2 Esports' announcement only included a five-word post, a picture, and the game's Epic Games store link.

Although Nyan Heroes may look like an exciting and original title, some Fnatic and G2 Esports fans have already shown their discontent for partnering with a game that supports the use of Cryptocurrency.

More information can be found about it on Nyan Heroes' Epic Store page, including the following disclaimer. "This game supports or includes the use of Blockchain, NFT technology, or Cryptocurrency. All transactions and related activity, payments for in-game purchases, refunds, and customer support are handled by the publisher of this product."

So far, Nyan Heroes players can unlock four different characters called Atlas, Spartan, Seradh, and Ghosts. With all of the giant mechs being controlled by cats, we expect fans to love the game — but may not like the part about NFTs and Cryptocurrency.
