The new Solstice 2024 event has started in Destiny 2 and sadly, a recurrent issue has made its presence known once more, the infamous "add kindling" bug.

While it's not game-breaking by any means, the confusing notification that pops when players are just starting the Solstice festivities can throw them for a loop, especially if they're newcomers or returning to Destiny 2 after a long break.

So to help you deal with we'll help you by explaining what the "add kindling" bug is referring to and how you can remove the notification from constantly showing up. While you're here, you might be interested in knowing the best way to farm Silver Leaves quickly.

How to fix "kindling bug" in Destiny 2

In order to get this pesky notification to stop appearing in Destiny 2, you have to complete step 5 of the Celebrating Solstice quest. To do so, you simply need to refresh a category of bounties in the Forge using Silver Leaves you collect by completing activities such as Bonfire Bash, ritual activities, or even public events.

Complete step 5 of the Solstice quest to get rid of the bug

The "add kindling to armor" bug is a notification that states players have acquired the Solstice event gear and are ready to level it up. However, the message pops up while players are doing the introductory quests, causing confusion as it's impossible to have Solstice gear.

You will need 100 Alloy to forge each armor piece. In total, you'll have to accumulate 500 Alloy to forge the helmet, chest, leg armor, and class item pieces.

It is a daunting task but there are many rewards along your path that will make the grind more bearable, including a brand-new Legendary combat bow, the Fortunate Star, a Void weapon that has a very interesting perk pool worth checking out if you're into that archetype, especially if you're looking to build a solid Warlock Prismatic build.
