Destiny 2's Episode: Echoes Act 2 has begun, introducing more story content and new weapons to acquire. Let's analyze the Corrasion god roll and how to obtain the new Arc pulse rifle.

Pulse rifles are in a solid spot at the moment, with weapons such as Red Death Reformed and Graviton Lance being in the conversation for best exotics in Destiny 2. Of course, Legendary pulse rifles are also incredibly strong, and the Corrasion is no exception.

Corrasion is an Arc pulse rifle introduced with Act 2 of Episode: Echoes, alongside the Aberrant Action sidearm, boasting a versatile perk pool with plenty for PvE and PvP players to choose from.

How to get the Corrasion in Destiny 2

In order to obtain the Corrasion pulse rifle, you need to jump in to Episode: Echoes activities. These Arena: Breach Executable or the new Battlegrounds: Echoes that were introduced with Act 2. This gun can be obtained as a random drop, but you can also use focus decoding by visiting Failsafe at the H.E.L.M.

To focus decode the Corrasion pulse rifle, you must complete the A Rising Chorus: Act II quest, which is available after finishing all the steps in Act I. At the time of writing, players can't complete the quest as the content is time-gated, so you will need to wait for subsequent weekly resets to access the decoding feature for the Corrasion.

However, it's important to note that the sidearm will still be available as a random drop even if you haven't completed this quest.

  • 3k Glimmer

Corrasion is an incredible Arc pulse rifle that has all the right tools to become a solid weapon in PvE and a decent off-meta tool in PvP. Voltshot is a safe pick in column 4, but column 3 offers a variety of perks such as High-Impact Reserves, Enlightened Action, and Pugilist that can synergize well with things like Focused Fury and Eye of the Storm.

  • Column 1: Fluted Barrel, Arrowhead Brake
  • Column 2: Tactical Mag, Flared Magwell
  • Column 3: High-Impact Reserves, Enlightened Action
  • Column 4: Voltshot, Frenzy

The best roll for the Corrasion in PvP is:

  • Column 1: Fluted Barrel, Smallbore
  • Column 2: Accurized Rounds, Steady Rounds
  • Column 3: High-Impact Reserves, Enlightened Action
  • Column 4: Focused Fury, Swashbuckler
