In an not-so-surprise announcement, the official Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Twitter account confirmed that the highly anticipated mobile version of the popular battle royale is set to make its global debut on March 21.

The news was accompanied by a small teaser video showcasing some gameplay and giving players quick notice regarding pre-registration, which is still available in case players want to earn some extra rewards.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile promises an "unparalleled mobile FPS battle royale experience," with a massive live player count in which FPS players can put their skills to the test by going up against up to 120 real players in a single lobby.

Warzone fans will be happy, as Warzone Mobile reintroduces the iconic Verdansk, a map which holds fond memories for many veterens of the series.

Beyond the standard battle royale modes, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile also brings multiplayer maps to the mobile. These include legendary locales like Shipment, Shoot House, and Scrapyard – all redesigned to feel more in line with modern COD.

If you're interested in playing when COD Warzone Mobile officially launches, you can still pre-register to obtain a slew of rewards that include Operator skins, weapons, and more.

The game has over 45 million preregistered players. Hitting that number earns players the final reward of Rebirth Island being unlocked.
