The Power Drill comes to Black Ops 6 and Warzone as part of the new Season 1 weapons, and you might wonder how to unlock it. This is a melee weapon, meaning you can only use it when you get up close to an enemy.
Although it's not too practical, it is never a bad idea to unlock this weapon to have it as your melee in Warzone or to run around and troll in multiplayer.
How to unlock the Power Drill in Black Ops 6 and Warzone
The Power Drill will be one of the rewards for the upcoming Hit List event that starts on September 21. To unlock the gun, players will have to get 1000 points.
Points can be obtained by doing eliminations, and the amount of points per elimination will vary per mode. Here is how many points you'll get in each major mode:
- Multiplayer: 1 point per elimination
- Zombies: 1 point per 5 eliminations
- Warzone: 5 points per elimination
Unlike the challenge to unlock the Sirin 9mm, this is a personal challenge, meaning that each player needs to get 1000 points on their own.
This is a new format for unlocking guns, substituting the one involving completing a series of challenges from previous years. We don't know if that format will return once the event is over or if there will be a different way to get the drill for those who miss out.
