Season 1 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone brings a new shotgun called Maelstrom, and you might wonder how to get it. The weapon hasn't been released but Activision has already revealed a few details about its unlock method.

How to unlock the Maelstrom in Black Ops 6 and Warzone
The Maelstrom shotgun will be live after the Season 1 reloaded patch for Black Ops 6 and Warzone drops. We believe this update will come out on Thursday, December 12 since that is four weeks after the season's launch.
The Call of Duty blog revealed that this weapon will be part of an event reward. Based on that wording and gun releases in previous titles, players will probably have to complete a challenge (or series of challenges) to unlock it.
Players will also have the choice to get the gun by buying a blueprint in the in-game shop. However, this is a partial unlock because attachments can be modified unless the shotgun is unlocked using the first method.
