Season 1 is set to drop soon in Black Ops 6, which means the first big set of patch notes should arrive shortly. The season is bringing a plethora of additions, but it will also modify the game's features/items and do some backdoor changes.
All of this is usually announced through the patch notes and while we wait for them to be released, here is everything we know.¿
Release date
Season 1 for Black Ops 6 will kick off on Thursday, November 14 at 9:00 am PT (5:00 pm GMT). The season will last about eight weeks, with a mid-season patch arriving after four weeks.
The update is now available to preload for PC players, and the preload for console players should start a few hours before launch.
What do we know about the patch notes?
The patch notes for Black Ops 6 Season 1 are still not available but they will be posted an hour before launch. However, apart from the big additions already announced, we have a few ideas of what we can expect tomorrow.
While we don't know any specifics, the patch will probably make some balance adjustments to the different launch weapons on Multiplayer and even Zombies.
We can expect other things like quality-of-life additions, UI improvements, new features, and bug fixes. Since the game is practically new, we expect a long list of bugs to be fixed based on the community's feedback from the first two weeks.
Once the patch notes are out, we will update this article to include them so you can read about the changes and get ready for the first post-launch season.
