Black Ops 6 players discover a mega broken semi-automatic sniper rifle

Broken doesn't even begin to describe it

Inspecting the SVD from Black Ops 6 in the practice range

As usual, players are exploring the different weapons and attachment combinations in Black Ops 6 and many have discovered one sniper rifle with ridiculous potential: the SVD.

At first glance, this sniper rifle doesn't look intimidating at all, simply because it's a semi-automatic rifle and its design looks like the classic Dragunov, which has traditionally been bad in most Call of Duty titles.

However, players have discovered that you can do "pop shots" with this weapon, as its bullets dont have falloff at short and medium range. Pop shots is a term for shooting right after the ADS animation starts, allowing for a faster reaction time than when someone quickscopes.

The gun is also forgiving when it comes to accuracy and here's proof of that:

You'll have access to this gun early on in your multiplayer journey, as it unlocks after reaching level 25. Once you have it, here are the attachments you should unlock and equip:

  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Magazine: Extended Mag 1
  • Comb: Quickdraw Riser
  • Stock: Light Stock
  • Laser: Strelok Laser

We reckon the gun might receive a nerf shortly, so we recommend you try it out as soon as possible so you don't miss out on this ridiculous meta.
