When does Overwatch 2 Season 18 come out?
Overwatch 2 Season 18 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 26th at 11:00 AM PT (7:00 PM BST) for all platforms. The update is already available to preload for PC users through the Battle.net launcher, while console players will have to wait until a few hours before release to start the preload.
If the format remains the same, the season should last between 8 and 9 weeks, with a significant patch arriving in the middle to add the second batch of content.
What do we know about the patch notes?
The patch notes for Overwatch 2 Season 18 will be released either a day before or right when the season begins. In the meantime, we have an idea of a few of the changes coming to the game.
For starters, the patch brings perk changes to every hero available, meaning we are bound to see several new perks, while others will be removed. This was promised at the start of Season 15, when the perk system was originally introduced.
