Black Ops 6 features a moderate collection of operators at launch, and you might wonder how to unlock them. Most operators like Frank Woods or Russell Adler are characters we know and love from Treyarch's franchise.
Although most of them are unlocked from the start, you'll have to complete some extra steps to get access to all the characters in the game's multiplayer section.
How to unlock every launch operator in Black Ops 6
Just like previous games, the operators are divided into two factions for the multiplayer section: Rogue Black Ops and Crimson One. Here is how to unlock each operator from each group:
Rogue Black Ops
- Russell Adler: The “Umbra” skin is available from the start for all the Black Ops 6 Vault Edition owners.
- Park: The “Oblivion” skin is available from the start for all the Black Ops 6 Vault Edition owners.
- Woods: The “Classic Woods”, “Zombie Woods”, and “Numbers Woods” are unlocked for everyone who pre-ordered the game, regardless of the edition.
- Nazir: Available immediately.
- Westpoint: Available immediately.
- Bayan: Available after reaching Player Level 22.
- Alvarez: Available after reaching Player Level 7.
- Payne: Available after reaching Player Level 13.
- Marshall: Available after reaching Player Level 34.
- Weaver: Available immediately.
- Maya: Available immediately.
Crimson One
- Brutus: The "Warden of Alcatraz" skin is available from the start for all the Black Ops 6 Vault Edition owners.
- Klaus: The "Reborn" skin is available from the start for all the Black Ops 6 Vault Edition owners.
- Rossi: Available after reaching Player Level 16.
- Caine: Available immediately.
- Niran: Available immediately.
- Toro: Available after reaching Player Level 10.
- Bailey: Available after reaching Player Level 28.
- Stone: Available after reaching Player Level 40.
- Carver: Available immediately.
- Grey: Available immediately.
The list of operators will grow in the following months as more playable characters are added in every post-launch season.
