With a win over Spacestation Gaming on the final day of Stage 2 of the NA League, Astralis have qualified for the Six Berlin Major.
After adding Roman "Forrest" Breaux to the roster at the beginning of the year, Astralis topped the North American League during Stage 1, finished the Charlotte Major in second place, and have now qualified for Berlin Major in first place.
This comes as they ended the stage on 16 points with a 4-2-0-3 record thanks to prior regulation wins over XSET, Mirage, DarkZero, and now SSG, as well as Soniqs and beastcoast in overtime.
This result meant they beat out both DarkZero Esports and Spacestation Gaming for the final Major spot while also jumping all the way to first place. While they tied on 16 points with Soniqs and Oxygen, their round differential was six higher than OxG and they had beaten Soniqs in a tight 8-7 in the very first day of the stage.
Now they will join Oxygen, XSET, and Soniqs in Berlin as the four North American League representatives in Berlin from Aug. 15 to 21, where they will fight to pick up the title they just missed out on in May.
