Apex Legends Double Take collection event: Everything you need to know

The first collection event of the season is coming

Apex Legends Double Take collection event

Things have been pretty quiet in Apex Legends since the start of the season, but Respawn has finally announced a new collection event called Double Take. This is an alternative reality event, where some of the legends are portrayed as a complete opposite thanks to Alter's crazy imagination.

Now that the trailer has been released, here is everything you need to know about this upcoming collection event.

Start date

The Double Take collection event for Apex Legends is set to begin on Tuesday, June 25 at 10:00 am PT (6:00 pm BST). The content will remain available for two weeks, expiring on Tuesday, July 9 at the same time.

Trailer

Here is the trailer for the event, which gives us a glimpse at some of the new skins for the alternative reality legends, including the prestige skin for Lifeline:

Skins and cosmetics

Just like on every other event, this one will introduce 24 new cosmetics into the game. Here are all the new legendary skins revealed:

There will be some minor cosmetics that players will be able to unlock by simply playing during the event. Here is the reward tracker showing all the free rewards:

On top of all, it wouldn't be a collection event without a big cosmetic as a reward. The big one in question is a new prestige skin for Lifeline called Apex Corruptor, which features three phases accessible during a match.

The skin features a unique execution where her drone pulls out its cables and uses them to eliminate its target. If you want to get your hand on this skin, you will only have to collect all 24 cosmetics from the event before it ends.

Quads takeover

Quads will be added as a new mode into the game, allowing teams of four players to fight for the win. This mode will be available until the end of the season, so you won't have to worry about playing it during the two weeks of this collection event.
