Apex Legends Alter: Release date, abilities, skins, and more

The next legend's appearance and abilities have leaked

Apex Legends Alter

Season 20 of Apex Legends was released to the game in February 2023 and, unfortunately, no new Legends were added to the game. This meant that Conduit, who was released in October 2023, would remain as the newest Legend added to EA's title for a couple of months.

Well, this is about to end. According to new leaks posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), a new in-game character called Alter is coming to Apex Legends in Season 21. Here's everything we know about the Legend!

When is Alter coming to Apex Legends?

Alter will be released to Apex Legends with the launch of Season 21, according to the following leak posted by HYPERMYSTx on X (formerly Twitter).

Season 21 is scheduled to begin on May 7 at 10 am PST / 6 pm GMT, shortly after the conclusion of the current battle pass.

Alter's abilities

Unfortunately, it's too early to talk about Alter's abilities, and everything we know about the Legend is based on leaks. Here's everything we know so far:

Passive ability

Alter's Passive Ability is reportedly called 'Gift From the Rift,' which the Legend can use after interacting with a Death box to claim any item (except armor) remotely.

Tactical ability

Alter's Tactical Ability is 'Void Passage.' The Legend will be able to use it to create a portal passageway through a surface.

Ultimate ability

Last but not least, Alter's Ultimate Ability is 'Void Nexus' and it will create a regroup point that Alter and her teammates will be able to use to travel back to the location it was placed in.

What will Alter look like?

As of now, we have only got one picture of Alter's full body. The Legend looks like a semi-human as some of her body parts are robotic.

We expect her to trigger her abilities using her robotic hand, which may give her access to her Tactical and her Ultimate.

Alter's Bio

According to leaks, Alter is likely to be Chinese. Alter was trained to be a killer from an early age. Eventually, the betrayal of her team of mercenaries and the killing of her parents made her go insane.
