ALPHA Team's players Martín "Martin2k" Chifflet, Nazareno "Naza" Ghione, and Joao "Gaspro" Gaspar will not be able to compete at the BLAST R6 Major Montreal due to visa issues, according to the team's announcement.

For those unaware, the Argentinian Naza joined the team before the LATAM League 2024 Stage 2 playoffs after Gaspro couldn't travel to Mexico alongside his teammates due to visa issues.

Instead, the organization will add two stand-ins who will represent ALPHA Team alongside Ivan "Ragn4r" Federico, Bastian "Basthian" Aguilera, and Nicolas "Slater" Cruz. The names of the two replacements will be unveiled later this week.

Unfortunately for ALPHA Team, this is not the first time the organization has faced a similar situation. Ahead of the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta, when they competed under the name of Alpha Atheris, the team had to replace José "Motumbo" Díaz with the Six Invitational 2021 champion João "Kamikaze" Gomes due to visa issues.

ALPHA Team's first match at the BLAST R6 Major Montreal will be against Team Falcons. If the South American lineup wins against the MENA League roster, they will play against the winner of the series between FearX and Chiefs.
