For nearly two years now, BDS Esport have been one of Rainbow Six Siege’s most consistent teams.
One of the longest-standing sets of five in the esport, their most recent roster move came back in 2020, when they added Loïc “BriD” Chongthep. The effect was immediate. BDS went from a team that could challenge the best teams in the world to a top-tier team nearly overnight.
BDS are a consistent top-eight team in the world, and that’s more than enough reason to celebrate BriD, statistically one of the best supports in the region and the world. A large portion BDS’s success is due to BriD, who has an impressive 15 clutches this year, tied for fourth-best of any player. BriD is a threat to win any round from any position, so long as he’s alive.
Over the course of this year, he has a 1.13 SiegeGG Rating. Not only does this put him highest among support players, it's one of the best Ratings for any player, period, regardless of role. BriD has it all, the very definition of a complete package: pedigree, the clutch factor, sustained success. He’s more than deserving of the No. 9 player of 2021 award.
