Obey Alliance Announces Departure from Rainbow Six

After a season of ups and downs and a tough online performance, the org Obey Alliance has announced it will be leaving the Rainbow Six Pro League.

Obey Alliance has officially announced it is leaving Rainbow Six and releasing its roster. This announcement comes after Obey was auto-relegated following a mixed performance in season 8.

Obey entered the scene in March, when they picked up the former eRa Eternity roster. The team was originally MahMan, Gurmy, Bosco, Krazy and Snake_Nade, but they replaced Benji and Krazy with Skys and Adam quickly. After only one game, the team released Gurmy to add Benji back. After that, the team went on to struggle in the league, but qualified for the Paris Major after an arduous online tournament.

At the Paris Major, the team lost their first match to NORA-Rengo, but recovered and fought their way out of groups. From there, the team played a nailbiting quarter-final against Rogue, only to suffer a close loss. On their return the team was unable to secure enough points to avoid relegation, and a tie against Evil Geniuses on playday 14 wasn’t enough to protect them from the auto-relegated 8th spot.

It's up in the air whether the roster will disband, with Skys tweeting that he is moving to a coaching position, and Benji announcing they would be moving on.
