A dedicated Rainbow 6 Siege fan known as DudeKiller has revealed a major update to his passion project, R6Calls, a website dedicated to helping players with map callouts and strategies.

R6Calls.com aims to help teams have better communication through faster callouts. Callouts are certain areas on each map that alert other players where teammates or enemies are located. Knowing the names for each spot can help you share this information at lightning speed, giving your team the upperhand.

On Reddit, DudeKiller said that Version 3.0 is based on feedback from users on Reddit and Discord. This includes a "strat" tool that allows players to draw on the map. This took DudeKiller some time, he admitted. Users can also export and import the strats they make on the site, meaning they can share it with their team.

How to use R6Calls

There are two main modes on R6Calls. The first is Explore Mode. You can look deeper into each map, showing different floors and layers.

Strat Mode lets you draw a strategy directly onto a map of your choice. You can save the image or share it for other users to see. Here's how to do it:

  1. Click on the question mark at the top of the screen to select operators on your team.
  1. Choose a "writing utensil" on the top right, whether it's a pen or an icon.
  2. Explain the strategy you created in the "info" section.
  3. Click on "export" to save the strategy to your device.

The Rainbow Six Siege community has responded with praise for R6Calls and DudeKiller. The immense amount of work he has put in blended with the great insight the site provides has made it an important addition to the competitive Siege scene. Many are urging DudeKiller to get content creators and pro players involved with the project to get it more public acknowledgment.
