A leak has pointed to a Rainbow Six Siege-like mode coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
Call of Duty leaker Ralph took to Twitter to drop new information about the upcoming Call of Duty title, which is currently thought to be a sequel to Modern Warfare coming in 2022. Ralph found even more information on the unreleased game, including a new mode with the codename "Attackers vs. Defenders."
And the mode seems very similar to Rainbow Six Siege.
What is the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II game mode?
"Attackers v. Defenders" isn't only similar to Rainbow Six Siege due to the use of, well, attackers and defenders. It also seems to have maps and gameplay that's inspired by Rainbow Six Siege. This includes a limited time to complete objectives and the ability to revive teammates.
Not much his known about the new game mode just yet. But it appears that each player will be assigned a role chosen by a general vote, with one nominated team leader. Defenders will have traps and cameras, which probably sounds awfully familiar as well.
Between each round, teams will have a "debrief period" that allows teams to switch up their roster.
The teammate condition system has three levels: minor, critically injured, and mortally wounded. The condition will determine how long it takes to revive teammates. Slow revivals will obviously put you in danger.
All of the information about "Attackers v. Defenders" is currently just a leak. Nothing has been confirmed just yet. But it will be interesting to see how close to Rainbow Six Siege the mode truly is.
