With the elimination of CYCLOPS athlete gaming in the APAC Playoffs today, Oxygen Esports have qualified for the Six Invitational 2022.

Oxygen started off the first stage of the 2021 Circuit with a bang. In the offseason, the veteran team signed Léo "Kyno" Figueiredo and Evan "Yoggah" Nelson, two young, promising, but unproven rookies.

The move completely and totally delivered: Oxygen finished first in the inaugural stage of the 2021 season. They had a respectable run at SI 2021 as well, and because the postponement of the Six Invitational meant that the May Major they qualified for was cancelled entirely, Oxygen got the benefit of both a strong, sixth-place SI run and 510 SI points.

In Stage 2, Oxygen struggled, and missed out on the Mexico Major. Three regulation losses during the stage doomed them to a sixth place finish and five points outside of qualifying for the next big tournament.

While their top-four status in NAL is not yet confirmed for Stage 3, Oxygen will likely qualify for the Sweden Major. Regardless of that, however, they'll once again play on the game's biggest stage.
