Australian organization Dire Wolves signs 7th Heaven roster

Australian organization Dire Wolves today announced the signing of the Taiwanese 7th Heaven roster after having teased the move for two days.

The team has not made further changes from the ones announced prior to the Mexico Major, where Kuei-En "S1no" Lee moved to the bench, Tung "SPirited" Ming Ni left the team, and Jhih-Ying "JackyWu" Wu and Zong-Ci "SHADOW" Wu joined.

Dire Wolves features teams in "League of Legends", "Valorant", "Overwatch" and four other esports titles. Its "Rainbow Six Siege" entry marks the second new esports title this year and the sixth when including 2020.

The organisation's "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" team left on Sep. 7, however, amidst allegations of non-payment by its former players.

The 7th Heaven roster had been dropped by Electrify Esports after the 2020 season, but had been able to play in Stage 1 and 2 of the APAC South Division after it had been able to secure funding and support from KEY MOMENT Commercial & Trading.

The team had finished a strong fourth in APAC South in Stage 1, while also winning the Operation League Taiwan Season 4 national tournament. However, it dropped to seventh the next stage in APAC South and was only second in Season 5 of the Operation League Taiwan.

Despite the drop in placement, the Taiwanese team had only been three points away from an APAC Playoff spot and just five points behind league leader Knights.

The new Dire Wolves "Siege" roster will thus be keen to reward the faith shown to it, and will be aiming for a top-four finish in Stage 3.

Catch it in action again tomorrow, when it takes on ORDER at 4:45 PM SGT (UTC+8).
