North American League (NAL) side XSET has signed Dillon "Razorr" to replace Alex "Butterzz" O'Campo, who is now a content creator for the organisation.
Also signed are the former DarkZero Esports and TSM player Sam "Jarvis" Jarvis, who will be coaching the team, and the former Spacestation Gaming and eUnited analyst Drew "DrewSpark" Spark-Whitworth.
The Canadian of Razorr had been part of the LiViD team for Stage 1 of the North American Challenger League (NACL) in the 2021 season.
On that team, he had been the third-highest rated at 1.09, but LiViD had missed out on the NACL playoffs after finishing fourth in Group B. However, those statistics will matter little to XSET, with Oxygen Esports (OxG) having proved the worth of signing players that fit the team over those with greater star power.
OxG's signings of top-flight rookies Leonardo "Kyno" Figueiredo and Evan "Yoggah" Nelson rocketed the team to first place in the NAL at the end of Stage 1 and also helped it finish an impressive joint-fifth at the Six Invitational 2021.
Meanwhile, XSET had finished Stage 1 of the 2021 NAL in ninth and last, only managing to win one game in an upset against DarkZero.
As such, it will be hoping that the FPL-scouted Razorr will be a much-needed boost to the team, especially in the firepower department.
