According to an announcement from the official MNM Gaming Twitter account, MNM Academy player Jamie "Skiddy" Diamond will be joining Natus Vincere for EUL Stage 2.

"We always believe in giving players the best platform to better themselves and take them to new heights. In April 2022 we announced our Academy Rainbow 6 team with this very goal in mind and today we are delighted to see one of our Academy players moving up to compete in EUL," the announcement read.

"I am really happy for Skiddy, he’s got a lot of talent and I know he will continue his success especially since he is with good friends at NAVI," MNM CEO Kalvin "KalKal" Chung said in the announcement.

Natus Vincere, colloquially known as NAVI, finished eighth in the first stage of EUL's 2022 season with only three wins to their name -- two of them in regulation. They had five regulation losses.

However, there's some life in the team. An early-season overtime loss to BDS and a 7-2 thrashing of stage-leading Heroic show that NAVI are maybe a couple of roster moves, or some time to gel, away from becoming a solid team.

MNM's announcement mentioned that Skiddy will be playing in the European League during Stage 2. The player he will be replacing, or whether NAVI will be going with a six-man roster, is Rickard "Secretly" Olofsson, per an announcement from NAVI. Secretly says that he'll be taking a break from R6, but is not definitively retiring. He also says that he suffered from burnout issues.

MNM mentioned in their announcement that they are looking for another player to fill Skiddy's role. NAVI will also add ex-Rebels coach Alonso "ALO" Díez.
