Spacestation Gaming decided to part ways with David "iconic" Ifidon, who had joined the team in March 2024. With his arrival, Spacestation Gaming's roster had four of the five players that represented Astralis at the Six Invitational 2023.

The 22-year-old joined the astronauts from M80, where he played for the Brazilian-majority squad in Copenhagen, Riyadh, Atlanta, and São Paulo. Unfortunately, the team couldn't perform as many fans had expected, with their best international result being a second-place finish in Saudi Arabia.

Alongside Spacestation Gaming, the team's sixth-place finish in the North America League 2024 Stage 1 was followed by a BLAST R6 Major Manchester qualification after winning the region's Last Chance Qualifier. Although the Americans qualified for the Swiss Stage after victories against Team Cruelty and Bleed Esports, the astronauts failed to get a win in Phase 2 after defeats against Into The Breach, Team BDS, and Team Liquid.

Looking at Iconic's performances in the North America League and the Last Chance Qualifiers, the American averaged SiegeGG ratings of 0.86 and 1.20, respectively. However, his performance in Manchester was underwhelming as he averaged a SiegeGG rating of 0.74 and a K-D of 49-81 (-32) while maining IQ and Azami.

Spacestation Gaming's replacement for Iconic is likely to be Benjamin "Benjamaster" Derelli, who was included in the team's FACEIT page to compete in the North American Esports World Cup open qualifiers.
