Ninjas in Pyjamas have signed Diogo "Fntzy" Lima and Gabriel "Hatez" Kobuszewski to replace Gustavo "Wizard" Gomes and Murilo "Muzi" Moscateli, who parted ways with the team shortly after the conclusion of the BLAST R6 Major Manchester.
Ninjas in Pyjamas' most recent results in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege's competitive scene have been underwhelming. After featuring in Copenhagen and Atlanta, the Brazilians were knocked out of the Six Invitational 2024 after a 0-2 defeat against the eventual champions w7m esports.
Unfortunately, the team's consistency in Brazil couldn't be matched in Year 9. The Brazilians started the season with a ninth-place finish in the Brazil League 2024 Stage 1, followed by a quarter-final exit at the region's Last Chance Qualifiers. Therefore, the squad is currently between a rock and a hard place with no SI Points heading to Stage 2.
To get back on track, Ninjas in Pyjamas have signed the former FURIA Esports and MIBR player Fntzy, who has competed in multiple Majors and Six Invitationals. Additionally, Ninjas in Pyjamas have also signed Hatez from Keyd Stars.
Ideally, Ninjas in Pyjamas need a strong showing in Brazil's second split to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Montreal and keep their hopes of a Six Invitational 2025 qualification alive. If the Brazilians missed out on the final Major of the year, their last chance to qualify for the Six Invitational 2025 would be through their region's Last Chance Qualifiers.
