CYCLOPS athlete gaming unveiled the team's Rainbow Six Siege roster for the 2024 season, including two new players and two new staff members.
The decision comes following CAG's results throughout the 2023 season. After missing out on the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen, the Japanese team finished in third place of their BLAST R6 Major Atlanta Phase 1 group.
After one year on the team, the Japanese roster parted ways with Takashi "Arcully" Ono. The former Crest Gaming Lst player joined CYCLOPS athlete gaming on Jan. 2023 and made his debut at the Six Invitational 2023.
Meanwhile, the team decided to move Takuma "SuzuC" Nakajima to the staff team as the roster's new coach. This decision comes almost five years after SuzuC joined CAG as a player, a move that took place in Jun. 2019.
To replace them, CAG decided to sign ShuReap and Sironeko from Crest Gaming Lst and NORTHEPTION, respectively.
CAG's new roster will make its debut in the Japan League 2024, which is expected to begin in Mar. 2024.
