Cameram4n Joins MIBR

After being dropped by FaZe Clan, Gabriel "cameram4n" Hespanhol has now joined MIBR to replace Hugzord.

Cameram4n first joined the team now known as FaZe Clan just after they won Season 2 of the Elite Six Brazilian national tournament while they were known as Santos Dexterity in late 2017. The team quickly rose back to the top of Brazilian R6 qualifying for the first international tournament for the region -- the 2017 Six Invitational -- where they finished within a few rounds of defeating the soon to be champions, Continuum, in the first round.

Since then with the lone exception of Season 4, this team has attended every tier-one tournament to date starting with semi-final exits in Seasons 5 and 6 and a quarter-final defeat to Evil Geniuses once again at the 2018 Six Invitational. Moving into Year 3 the team continued their record as the top team in Brazil as they attended both Pro League Finals and Majors which included their first international grand-final at the Season 8 Rio de Janeiro Finals where they finished second behind G2 Esports.

Since the beginning of 2019, however, their international performance has begun to seriously disappoint with group stage exits at the 2019 and 2020 Six Invitational, a loss of their back-to-back Brazilian national title to Team Liquid, an early exit at DreamHack Montreal and another semi-final exit by the hands of Evil Geniuses once again. To remedy this, the team opted to remove one of their two remaining players from their 2017 Invitational lineup of cameram4n who has now found a new home alongside MIBR:

MIBR (Made in Brazil) had quite an impressive domestic record over the last few years having bested many other Brazilian squads to qualify for two Pro League Finals and three Majors only to win two out of 10 games at these international events (one of which was against NORA-Rengo with kizoku playing as a stand-in). This led to a number of structural and staff changes which culminated in a new-look MIBR show up firstly at the OGA Pit Minor where they defeated the reigning and soon-to-be World Champions of G2 Esports and Spacestation Gaming and then at the 2020 Six Invitational where they made it to the playoffs ahead of the regional favourites of FaZe and Liquid.

With their LAN curse seemingly broken, they have chosen to now replace their newest pickup from Black Dragons of Vitor "hugzord" Hugo with one of the most successful players in Brazilian R6, Gabriel "cameram4n" Hespanhol, in the hopes that this will help them push and challenge the "big-three" LATAM teams throughout Year 5. Their first goal would, therefore, be to climb from fifth place to a top-two position in LATAM's Pro League in order to challenge for the last ever Pro League title and at their only confirmed home tournament for the next two years of R6.

MIBR's next game will be on March 24th against Team oNe when Season 11 restarts where we will first see the new lineup in action:

Jaime "cyb3r" Ramos José "Bullet1" Victor Lucca "MKing" Coser Daniel "Novys" Novy Gabriel "cameram4n" Hespanhol Guilherme "Guille" Scalfi (coach)
