As confirmed a few days ago, a private test for Battlefield 6's battle royale mode is underway for all Battlefield Labs members. Although all members are obligated to sign an NDA to prevent any leaks, we knew that it wouldn't be possible to avoid, given how previous tests for the multiplayer mode went.
User RevivedTitangil posted an 11-minute video on Reddit that showcases a match of the battle royale mode. This is our first look at a proper game, as previous leaks only have one player exploring an unfinished version of the map.
In this new video, the player is seen doing the usual stuff you would expect from a battle royale match: looting, driving different vehicles, and engaging with other players. As for the vehicles, this gameplay alone confirms that players will not only be able to drive cars and boats, but also a tank.
The heavily armored vehicles aren't parked in the open for anyone to use. Instead, in the video, we see one inside a freight, indicating that players will have to do something to unlock them and access this deadly vehicle.
In case you haven't seen it, here is the leaked gameplay:
On top of the gameplay, the loading screen and intro cutscene players see before entering a game have also leaked, and you can give them a look below:
With the battle royale now in testing, we expect to have a proper reveal of this mode soon. This experience is expected to be free-to-play and offered separately from the main Battlefield 6 title, similar to what happens with Warzone in the Call of Duty franchise.
