The dates for the multiplayer open beta of Battlefield 6 have been announced, and a special early access period will be available during its first weekend. Although the beta will become available to everyone after two days, there are probably some of you who are impatient and don't want to wait.
To help anyone out, we have prepared a guide explaining how to play during this early access period.
How to get early access to the Battlefield 6 beta
If you didn't manage to get a code during the multiplayer reveal event, you still have a chance to enter the beta and dont miss out on the early access period.
The first way to get early access to the Battlefield 6 beta is by subscribing to the EA Play Pro service, as all members will receive early access instantly. Players can also get access through the upcoming Twitch Drops campaign. You only need to watch 30 minutes of any Battlefield 6 stream and you will receive a code to jump into the action.

Once you have the code, here is what you need to do to get access to the beta, regardless of the platform you play on:
- Head over to the official Battlefield 6 redeem website.
- Log in with your EA account.
- Redeem the code you received on Twitch.
- If you haven't, make sure to link your EA account with your Xbox, PlayStation, or Steam account, depending on which platform you plan to play the beta.
Pre-ordering the game won't give you early access beta, so these are the only methods left you can follow if you want to be among the first groups of people to try out the game publicly.
Battlefield 6 beta dates
In case you are a bit lost, there will be two beta periods, each taking place during a weekend. Here are the dates:

- Weekend 1
- August 7-8 (Early access)
- August 9-10 (Open beta)
- Weekend 2 (Open beta)
- August 14-17
Given that there are no exclusivity deals, the beta will be available on all platforms (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam) at the same time. It's unclear at the moment if crossplay will be active during any of these weekends.
