G2 Esports and Virtus.pro have qualified for the BLAST Major Copenhagen Phase 2 after defeating MNM Gaming and WYLDE, respectively.

Tomorrow, the Six Invitational 2023 champions will meet the Russians for the Europe League top seed, while both MNM Gaming and WYLDE will play for a spot in the BLAST Major Copenhagen Phase 1.

In their return to Rainbow Six Siege, Virtus.pro have qualified for an international competition for the first time since the Six Invitational 2021. Back then, the players couldn't compete in Paris, France, due to two COVID-19 cases in the roster.

A lot has changed for Virtus.pro since that happened, as only Pavel "p4sh4" Pachenko remains from the team's 2021 roster. Now, Virtus.pro's project is led by four former Team Empire players, who have a lot of experience at international competitions.

To qualify for the BLAST Major Copenhagen, Virtus.pro finished in second place of Group A, only behind G2 Esports. Following their group stage performances, the Russians defeated Team Secret and WYLDE to secure a spot in the BLAST Major Copenhagen Phase 2.

During the groups, Danila "dan" Dontsov was the team's best player as topped every tracked category except for plants. However, Daniil "JoyStiCK" Gabov has been the man on the spotlight so far in Virtus.pro's matches in the Europe League Playoffs.

Meanwhile, in the second match of the day, G2 Esports defeated MNM Gaming by 7-0 and 7-4. Karl "Alem4o" Zarth and Benjamin "Benjamaster" Dereli were the best players in the series with SiegeGG ratings of 1.46 and 1.41, respectively. The duo heads to the grand finals as the two best players in the competition as they currently average ratings of 1.23 and 1.32, respectively.
