VALORANT's Champions 2025 is already underway as the first matches kicked off on September 12. Although the competition has been live for a couple of days, we have already had a couple of upsets.

So far, Paper Rex, Team Heretics, Fnatic, and NRG have secured their respective top seeds. Starting from today, teams will play for survival: teams who win will stay in the game while those who lose will be knocked out.
Here's what has happened so far in each group and the schedule for the upcoming games:
Group A
Group A of Champions 2025 includes Paper Rex, Sentinels, GIANTX, and XLG Esports. As expected, Paper Rex began the group's action with a one-sided 2-0 victory agains the Chinese side. However, the upset came shortly after when GIANTX took down Sentinels. The Americans would surprisingly be sent back home after a second defeat, this time against XLG Esports.
Against all of the odds, Paper Rex will be followed to the playoffs by the winner of today's clash between XLG Esports and GIANTX.

Group B
Group A of Champions 2025 includes Bilibili Gaming, Fnatic, MIBR, and Rex Regum Qeon. As expected, Fnatic were the better side and took the first seed after a 2-0 win against the Asian lineup was followed by a thrilling comeback against the Brazilians. Meanwhile, on September 22, we will know who will follow the Europeans to the playoffs.

- September 15 at 6 PM CEST: Rex Regum Qeon 0-2 Fnatic

Group C
Group C of Champions 2025 included EDward Gaming, Team Liquid, NRG, and DRX. Surprisingly enough, the group favorites Team Liquid and EDward Gaming were knocked out after their respective loses against NRG and DRX meant they would face off in the group's first elimination match.
The Chinese were the first ones to be knocked out, as Team Liquid extended their stay in Paris. However, the European lineup ended up falling a second time against DRX, meaning the South Koreans would move to playoff alongside NRG.

Group D
Group D of Champions 2025 includes G2 Esports, Team Heretics, T1, and Dragon Ranger Gaming. This is likely this year's group of death as it includes two international champions in Team Heretics and T1, as well as G2 Esports, who reached the Valorant Masters Bangkok grand final — which they lost against the South Koreans.
The best side in Group D was Team Heretics after back-to-back 2-0 wins against two of the competition's toughest sides, G2 Esports and T1. Valorant Champions 2025 Playoffs
The Valorant Champions 2025 Playoffs will be played between September 25 to October 5. The Bracket Stage will be played between September 25 to September 29, while the Finals will be played between October 3 and October 5.
