Paris Saint Germain (often abbreviated as PSG) has extended its esports partnership with Talon Esports to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Before today, PSG's partnership with Talon Esports was exclusive to League of Legends.
The French football team first joined the esports scene in Oct. 2016 and joined Rainbow Six Siege in Mar. 2022 after acquiring the roster of YOSHIMOTO Gaming Lamy. Following the conclusion of the Japan League 2022, PSG decided to close its first chapter in the Asian region.
Now, PSG is back. Compared to last year, the team's roster for the 2024 season has gone through one change as the organization parted ways with Im "saeyeora" Seung-hwan. To replace the South Korean, Lee "Soldier" Si-hyeon returned to the squad after competing for DPlus in Year 8.
However, today's announcement included an unexpected twist as the South Koreans announced the three-times Six Invitational winner Fabian "Fabian" Hällsten as the team's head coach.
Additionally, PSG Talon Esports announced Niclas "Pengu" Mouritzen as the organization's newest content creator. The Danish had previously worked as a content creator for G2 Esports and DarkZero Esports.
